BWRP - First Things First

I should have some great racing videos from the Double-Crown at Buttonwillow in a few days.

But first, a big THANK YOU to the many volunteers who helped make this a terrific event.
Please forgive me if I am missing anyone...
Ted Myrus and his son Ted who came up just to work grid.
Susie Amundsen and Dave Gardner for all their help with timing, pace car, and other tasks.
Ralph Linares who also stepped in to help on grid.
The National folks - Bruce, Jeff, and Franklin.
Mike Avitt driving the pace car (you look good in a Panamera, Mike!)

And finally, I can't say enough about Greg. He had the vision and courage to make this event a reality,
and the non-stop dedication and hard work and to make it a huge success!

WOW!!! :beerchug:

Thanks for the kind words, it was a busy tiring and fun weekend.
And yes there are lots of people to thanks and apologies as I know I will miss someone :surr:

First to Jack Miller and Robert Baizer who did the real work planning and managing event and helped me to add a PCA Club Race to their TT. They do a great job and have so for years.
The national staff, Bruce Boeder, steward, Franklin Kalk, timing and scoring and Jeff Burger our scrutineer.
Susan Shire and the rest of the national staff who assisted all along the way answering questions and keeping us pointed in the right direction.
Susan Brown was our online registrar and Cathy Young handled on-site registration.
Susie Amundsen was the assistant to timing and scoring
Ted Myrus and his son Ted who handled the grid, assisted with the enduro pit stop timing and stayed to the end to bring the national equipment back to Roland Schmidt of Seko International who will be handling the shipping the equipment.
Mike Mulligan was the scrutineer assistant and provided the scales and Rod Lidsey & Paul Pogue handled the scales
Mark Rondeau was our announcer. Steve Grosekemper was tech assistant and handled all the prep work before and at the track to allow me time to manage the races.
George Taylor also helped with the scales, and Rick Sylvestri with tech.
Jim Hicks brought our radios and equipment for the event.
Mike Avitt was pace car driver with Dave Garder the communicator.
Ethan Dahlkamp provided his trailer for me to stay at the track.
Katina Rondeau produced the event shirts.
Porsche of San Diego and Joe Allis who sponsored the event shirts and provided the beautiful Panamera with event graphics.
Suesan Way and Skip Carter of Grand Prix Region who put on the Friday DE at Buttonwillow.
Les Phillips and Carrie Hester and the rest of the Buttonwillow track personnel who were very helpful throughout the weekend.
Angela Avitt assisted with sponsorship and Martin Lipp with publicity.
Tom Brown for the help from the zone.
GGR who showed me it could be done and provided my template for the event.

The Club racers who came out and gave us a try and allowed us to learn on the job,

Pat Corona for helping with moral support and allowing for the time this event and the presidency have consumed.

I have lots of pictures and will be posting the links soon

Thanks again to those I missed giving credit to :banghead:

Okay, Videos as promised are up on our WebSite;

http://www.deadpetsracing.com/

From the Home Page, you can click on links in the "Latest Updates" box.

My two race videos are longer, but have LOTS of nice action (IMHO).

Again, kudos to Greg and the team for expanding this into an even better event!
