Streets of Willow DE & TT Registration now open!

Postby Robert on Thu Nov 15, 2012 10:01 am

Registration for the first performance driving event of 2013 is open and now has even lower prices for those that register early! Whether you are brand new to track driving or a regular attendee, kick off your 2013 right January 5-6 at Streets of Willow. We will have a Driver's Ed group that includes a ground school for novices as well as our usual Time Trial format (which is basically a DE with a required Transponder and times provided for every lap). This event typically sells out and, with prices rolled back by 6 years, this should be no exception. The Season Pass, which includes a free shirt, is also available for those that plan to run the bulk of SDR events in 2013. Combined with our lower early registration pricing, we're winding the fee clock back a decade to give you a full year of consistent, low prices with the most track time, the best car density, and the smoothest operations of any club. Registration is first come, first served, so sign up now!

I would love to see some newly minted PDS grads and AX drivers dip their toes in race track waters at this event. Streets of Willow is the perfect venue to safely step up to track driving.

On another note, it looks like competition is heating up among the CC classes. With 7 possible choices, I wonder where Paul Young will be driving this year. :?:

Hey AX'ers and PDS people The Ragin' Cajun is so right. Streets of Willow is like a BIG AX course and a great way to take the next step. As to Paul Young...I know...but I'm not tellin'! 8)

Last chance to register before prices increase by $50 is December 21 (tonight). Starting at midnight December 22 prices go up automatically. If you are even considering going you may want to sign up today and lock in the lower price. You may cancel at no charge any time prior to the commencement of the event subject only to the weather event policy. See http://msreg.us/SOW0113 for details and to register.

Happy holidays to all and hope to see you at Streets just after the new year!

3-M (Mosport, Mid-Ohio, and Miller).

Oh, by "Where", you meant which Zone 8 Class!

It's no secret. You can find the class mentioned on a particular website.

Hi Paul,
What date and what group will you be running with at Miller in 2013?
Last year with NASA did 3 days on Miller's full course.
I'd like to go back this year for the full course or the outer course.
thanks,
Mike

It's the PCA Club Race, hosted by the InterMountain Region. They usually have a DE group or two as well.

The track will be the full (4½ mile) configuration. I ran it at the PCA race in 2010, and Paul Jr. and I did the Miller East course last Summer.

Dates are September 20-22 - unfortunately overlapping with our WSIR Time Trial.

Miller is a kick-anus track, and definitely my favorite of "Flat" tracks (those with relatively little elevation change).

POC plans to share this event with Cup Racing and Time Trials, so I may be doing double races!
