Thanks to Robert and Jack for sticking this out, not cancelling it, and insisting to the powers that be that the rain front move on. It did. Except for a few hours in the morning and a few puddles the track was fine.
Thanks also to two AWESOME instructors, Jim Binford and Mike Brown. They cut 5 seconds off my times.

Thanks Robert and Jim for the great weekday at the track. I want to thank my coach Jim Duncan. Jim introduced me to the concept of expanding gonads. At full throttle that same spot Gary Burch shows in his video is where I popped my cherry. Jim if you read this, you have been my best coach ever. I am glad we brought the motorhome I was able to change my pants twice. What a great time and fun track. I never thought I could scare myself while I was driving. Jim kept me focused and had the confidence the car would do what he knew the car could do. All I had to do was to apply the voice in my ear to the controls of the car. Sounds easy right,

Looking forward to AX on the 19th. I am sure the seat time Jim Duncan spent with me will pay off in a lower ET.

Thanks to all the instructors and volunteers that were on site and ready to help. Thanks Steve Grosekemper for being available for all the Tech things that came up. Also congrats for Spring Mountain.

Some of us thought it was OK to have some wet pavement in the morning. It saved some tire wear when you made those little "mistakes" when learning/re-learning the track. Some of us unintentionally "played" in (uh, slid into) what's called the playground in the morning - and our tires didn't complain - or flat spot.

On another level, the few puddles in the morning made you really think about your line, the track, how you wanted to take the track and manipulate your car - a true driving education DE.
