Some Bragging

Paul Jr, driving Butch took Fastest Time overall at the 58th Porsche Parade Autocross in Traverse City. It was a brilliant drive,
and with only 201HP he beat out 3.6L, 3.8L , and even 4.0L Porsches for the top title. His name goes on the perpetual trophy.

Bragging for Dead Pets Racing, sure, but also for the San Diego Region, and our AWESOME drivers and driving program!

Paul,
By the way, can you share what tire make and sizes? Was it with the avon slicks?

Yes.
A-Bomb Bias-Ply Slicks A-15 compound, 23.5" diameter. 9.1" wide front, 11" wide rear, on 9x15 and 11x15 rims.
Not at all optimum on a car set up for radial tires, and they definitely behave differently than the Hoosier R-6.
But they are sticky, and actually work well on a well-setup and nimble car like Butch.

While I seem to get a lot out of the package, in the hands of a skilled driver it is obviously quite potent.
Paul Jr has only driven it at Parade Autocross (2011, 2013), and each time he was over one second faster than me!

What an awesome job, Paul Jr.!!! There are always some very fast cars and drivers at Parade, and it is no easy task to come out on top. Way to go!
