Paint Shop Recommendation

Let me start out with a shout out to the asshat that decided my 2002 Carrera Cab needed to have a box knife taken to the side of it from bumper to bumper. You really had to work at getting something so sharp so that it could make it through 8 layers of clear-coat, base paint and primer all the way to the base metal.

Looking for recommendations near North County (or anywhere) that can do the job right, match the color right, get the clear-coat right and generally get the car back to near show condition. Any thoughts/experiences? I'm also very open to suggestions of who NOT to go to.

We have had very good results from West Coast Specialties in Mira Mesa. They have repaired my Boxster, plus a Mercedes, and did excellent work. That used to be where Pioneer Porsche (now Porsche of San Diego) sent all their body work.

I have also heard good things about Amato's in Sorrento Valley, but have never used them myself.
