For those who want to follow Parade AX results as they happen go here:
http://ax.pcasdr.net/
This a similar system to what we use for our TT events by Robert Baizer.
Pretty sweet stuff, check it out.
AX started yesterday and finishes up today.
How will San Diego region do?

Final results are here:

http://parade2014.pca.org/autocross.html

Congrats to winners Jad and Amy Duncan, Ralph and Annette Linares and Angela Avitt. :beerchug:

I ended up medaling with a 5th in a busy 911 class in my stock cabriolet at 44.93.

Lots of fast drivers from the bay area showed up and dominated the top ten. :surr:
Fastest from SDR were the Paul Youngs at 40.08 and 40.23.

Great event. Unfortunately our stock cab on 4 year old street tires was not going to challenge the fast guys. Built GT2's on Hoosier A6's are fast!

Miles and Lauren also did well in the RC car races and kid AX, so the Duncan's and Linares' brought home 8 trophies to SDR!

We had a good SDR showing, but need more people to show up the next time Parade is in our neighborhood. We had even more fun than expected. Great venue and everything ran great (except maybe the weather for the welcome dinner).

Thanks to Tom and Susan and all the other volunteers, it was a special week! :beerchug:

First need to apologize to the San Diego Region for registering for Parade when we were still Oregon Region members. :o

We had a great time, and represented the San Diego region well at the autocross. If the Boxster had 450hp, we might of had a chance for TTODL. Hard to compete against a fully prepared GT2 and another incredible female driver.

Congrats to Angela, Mike and the Young's. It was great running with you guys.

Hey Kathy Smalley and Bill Thorp, you guys did great. Your times were so fast! That AX course was so crazy. Too bad about not getting the region changed in time to San Diego. We will still count you as SDR winners. Bill was so close to winning 1st place in I04M. Missed it by .09 of a second. That is so close! That Pacific Northwest Region really dominated in most classes. Congrats Kathy for winning 1st place in I04L class. TTOD/L went to Teresa Neidell-McKee in a modified GT2 in M05L. Like you said, what chance did we have? Who can compete with a lady in a modified GT2? She is a really great driver, SCCA champion, and a go kart driver from the age of about 10 I think she said. I am thrilled that I won my class. S09L. I don't think I will be going to the Parade next year in Indiana, or to the next year in Vermont I think they said. Oh well, just happy I finally got a National Award to add to my collection of Trophies!! LOL.
