Here are the results from today's event. I really had fun driving this track, it was fast and flowing. Thanks for the hard work everybody.

+1. It was "flowing" in more than one way after the thunderstorm in the morning! Very different and challenging event with the changing conditions. Super fast track, around 5 seconds faster than the last one running the opposite direction for me, once it dried out.
Tons of fun and very well run!

Really great track!
Fast and flowing was not ideal for my low HP car but the challenge to never slow down made it very exciting.
Best track I can remember in a long time.
No easy task with the pavement we have available to us.
Let's remember this one.

Did someone say, "Flowing?"

This really was a great layout and a great day all the way around -- thanks to the whole Auto-x team!

That was an awesome track! I was in 3rd gear 80% of the time. This track did favor large cojones for sure, especially the section at the top of the track when you entered back into the track...the speed, the downhill off-camber, the decreasing radius all made for a very fast and interesting section at the limit. I went through the whole section sideways a couple times...never hit a cone though! Thanks to the AX team, CDI team, timing, logistics, corner working and all the volunteers in between who made a great day.

I vote for this track to be repeated multiple times! Great AX team!

For an autocross, it did require some gonads (as someone already stated) to go into third gear and having to lift in order to not keep going into the parking area under the trolley bridge..... :burnout:

The early rallying was awesome!! we should also think about adding water from now on to the event....
it was a great feeling going through the river and watching the water splash all over the car and sides...it reminded me of my little pedal car days going through the muddy water and with a big smile all over my face as the mud got everywhere!

PS-
Never wear 12 year old driving shoes... thinking ...they look like new... they still work....
Duct tape- the new trend in driving wear!

As such a newb I cannot determine whether this course was better or I am slowly able to appreciate it more, but DAMN what a good fun course!!!

A really great job of getting the cones up for a twisty course with no major late day changes and even more so keeping them in order as the mornings chalk was washed away.

nice lap...

So are you piping fake engine noise through the stereo like Toyota does? That does not sound like a Cayman

Thanks Jad, I think 0.52s was possible, but I made a mistake of braking too early on my fastest lap. Haha, no the stereo system has long been replaced with solid-engine mounts, now the car is a big engine, flywheel and gearbox noise amplifier. :-)

You know the track was excellent when you keep thinking about it and wish you had 1 more 4 lap session to improve! :D

It was a splash! Loved the track variation brought by the weather.
